The Australian students at the “Food & Health” Winter School

The first edition of the “Food & Health” winter school between Unipd and The University of Sydney allowed 40 students to study and debate about food and its impact on human life.

We spent some time with the organizers of the winter school and with one of the speakers from Sydney, but we couldn’t lose the chance to hear the student’s voice.

We invited Georgia, Veronica e Ali to listen to their stories about notes, tastings and multidisciplinary meetings: “we loved this experience – said Georgia – especially the possibility to participate side by side with people from different fields of study”.

“We took some of the guys to an «italian supermarket tour» and we visit local markets – told us Veronica – and it was beautiful to discover the differences in little things”. “I tried burrata cheese for the first time – added Ali – and it was an incredible experience!”.
